Let's talk about a semi old anime known as the Vision of Escaflowne, WHAT A STORY. Infact there's so much story that one episode synopsis could mean a big spoiler to the plot and the theme. The characters mesh very well with eachother and you believe the helpless girl is helpless or the cutthroat villian is cutthroat. The characters go through many changes as well, like the Asturian Princess Millerna who constantly tries to find truths to her past.

But no one, and I mean NO ONE can complain about giant mechs transforming into Dragons or Bad Mechs with stealth cloaks. NO ONE!!! I like it for those reasons and that I like the "everyone's at war" idea. It's the theme in another of my favorites Zoids: Chaotic Century. Oddly enough the main heroes of the story have close to the same name: Van and Ban.

Yeah it's probably one of my favorite movies, definitely a favorite anime movie.

Let's not forget the music throughout the series. Absolutely incredible.
