Pop Sound In Reverse

When I put my 2003 X-Terra (4x4) in reverse I hear a pop sound. It only happens when I first go into reverse. Any ideas about what may cause this?

I'm leaning towards the same thing. My 06 does it sometimes too, but its the e-brake releasing and its not all the time.
