How outta whack is/was your camber?

Please leave a response including model, drop, and camber after you dropped your ride. I just want to get an idea of what my camber will be after a 1.75" (front) and a 1.5" (rear) drop (using Neuspeed Sport springs on a 99 Si). Thanks for any input!!

I have my '00 Civic coupe dropped about "2 on a set of Tein SS coilovers. From other people that have seen it, my camber is about 2-3 degrees off. Enough that I more likely than not, need a camber kit.

I'm dropped about 2" front and 1.75" rear. Camber is 1.5 negative front and 2.2 rear. I have 0 toe all around.

On a Delsol I used to have I had Intrax springs on it, lowered it about 2". My camber was between -1.5 degrees and -2 dergrees. Alot of people think that you need to fix this to keep your tires from wearing badly. This is wrong, these camber settings don't affect tire wear, and they make your car handle much better. The bad tire wear comes from toe not camber.

i have to disagree with delsol just because i have had alot of problems with it before. as far as camber is concerened anything over -2 degrees will make the inside of your tires wear out fast. -1 degree is what i would set my camber at its close to factoryy specs with no premature tire wear. toe is how the tires line up with one another .if your front tires are not straight with each other one tire will in actuallity be dragging across the road. id say if u put new tires on and your toe waas not set right those tires would not last a month before they had to be replaced.

Well I personally have not had any problems with this much camber and I know many other people that have not had problems this much camber. But if the toe is off the inside of the tire wears very badly. If you've got a protractor or something you can see degrees on look at the difference between 0 degrees and -2 degrees. The tire wear that results from such a small change is unnoticable.

I disagree too. So if I put a platform shoe on your right foot and a sandal on your left foot you will not have any problems walking.

A combination of toe and camber affects tire wear. Please don't give bad information.

i think majority rules here. i had about -2 and the insides were bald in about a year.

well shit. my 98 prelude SH is dumped between 2 - 2.5 inches, and ive got a 3 degree camber on one of the front tires. the back is better, about 1 degree.

I dropped my 99 accord sedan 2 in the front and 2 in the rear with eibach sportlines....and it was atleast 2.5 in the back...i dont have any problems with the front... but i went and got some control arms for the back and straightned it out but then it rubbed....so i baught some nuespedds, and pput them in the rear only so the rear is now 1.5 inches but i still rub...no biggy tho....

the toe was set correctly. got lucky though. when i had first lowered it, i didnt even think about toe. but only the rears were messed up.
