No Low & Med Fan Speed

I Have A 2000 Cavalier. Today I Lost Only My Low & Med Speeds On My Fan, Just The High Speed Works. The Climate Control Fuse Is Ok On Side Of Dash. In The Engine Bay Fuses There Is A Silver Relay (i Think) For The Fan ? Is This A Resistor For The Fan Motor , And How Would You Check This To See If Its The Problem? Thank For Any Help You Can Give Me.

Re: No Low & Med Fan Speed

It is the resistor panel at the controls...because there is no resistor connected to the setting for high.

Re: No Low & Med Fan Speed

Any chance someone could throw up a picture of what one of those looks like and where it's installed again?

I'm having the same problem with my fan settings, though I might drop by the junk yard as I am too broke to pay the $35.

Re: No Low & Med Fan Speed

Excellent, excellent, probably pick one up off there or, maybe I can pocket a working one from the junk yard.

I know stealing is wrong, but they'll never miss it.
