97 S-10 A/C Help

Does anybody know if an A/C compressor off of a 93 Grand Am 2.3L quad engine will fit on my 97 S-10 2.2L? Mine is going out and I have a chance to get one from this grand am cheap. They look alot alike but I can't tell without taking them out and I don't want to do that if it won't work.

A quick look at napaonline.com shows 2 different part numbers for those vehicles. One difference being the Pontiac is set up for r-12 and your s-10 is r-134a.
