trans stuck in drive gear

My trans is stuck in drive nomatter what you put the gear selector in it will drive forward.it is shifting in to the differant gear did by hand on trans still will drive in park or reverse.please help.

It sounds like you have a bad trans. What is the year, mae, model and engine size?

I'm guessing am automatic? How are you getting it to start? Sounds like a linkage adjustment is needed.
