New here, My 69 RS

Here are some pics of my 69 camaro.

This is my first model to build

The body needs some more sanding and then a couple more coats of paint. I am using 81U Bright Red, there is also a spoiler that I have not painted yet.

The frame I have been working on aging it and am not finished, I still need to paint and assemble the front suspenison, I am going to the hobby bench to get some springs and hoses and belts ect. for the engine. I am undecided on which wheels to use, but will probably stick with the stock ralleys.

Well thats all for now, I will take some more as I get time to work on it. I am learning a lot about building through trial and error so anyone that wants to critique my work go right a head good or bad I can take it

Nice Camaro. The 69s were my favorite year for the Camaros. Looks like yours is coming along great. Here's one I did a while back as a custom version.

HEY!! Where have all of you Camaro builders been hiding!!
Awesome work so far, don't see too much weathering on this forum!
Here is my latest, from the gallery... And many of you have already seen the "Ultimate Camaro" thread. I would be updating it today but ave been following the shuttle tragedy. It normally flies over my home, but not today...

No, I have been trying to decide what to do with the interior. Need to do some research, and find out the colors they used, if nothing else I will just go with black. I would like to find out if anyone has the deluxe door panels for them.

The stripes are black, but I am not a big fan of them, probably will not use them on this one.

I did get the final paint coat shot today and just finished buffing it. With the exception of a couple minor blems it turned out great

I will take a pic of it and post it when I get some other things done to make the post worthwhile. Thanks for all of the nice comments.

I may do another one after this since I can't afford a real one yet.

also thinking of doing a 63 split window vette.

Ok couldnt resist here is a pic after final coat and polish.

WOW. Even tough I'm an import fan, I still like the look and feel of those classic American hot rods, the 69 comaro is my favorite body style of old american cars, and the 67 corvette, YEAH!!! :ylsuper

The Indy Pace Car kits had the deluxe interiors. If you can't find the kit I can send you door panels from one of the pile I have. If you need factory interior codes PM me, I have some good referance material!
