2002 Tahoe Stutter Starts at 1/4 tank
I've got a 2002 Tahoe with about 60k miles. No problems to speak of except that it fails to fire up on a single turn at or below a quarter of a tank of gas. In this situation, it only takes 3 or 4 turns of the starter before the engine fires up; once the engine is running theres no problem (Plenty of power/torque at all speeds, normal idle, generally good behavior). Once the tank is refilled, it'll start up on the first turn every time. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Re: 2002 Tahoe Stutter Starts at 1/4 tank
Almost the some problem with my 2003 Yukon, but it won't start at all once down to a 1/4 tank of gas. Put 2 more gallons in and it started fine. Went right to the gas station, filled up, and determined there were 4+ gallons still in the tank at 1/4 full. Last week it wouldn't start at just under 1/2 full, fixed it the same way, and determined there had been 8+ gallons still in the tank. What gives?
