awkward moments
So I met this girl tonight that was pretty cute, my age, whatever. So the night went on and we got to talking later as we were both about to leave. She goes to leave and does the nice meeting you thing with me, but as she does she starts approaching me and I'm trying to figure out if she is coming for a hug or just a handshake. I end up just shaking her hand but my other hand was hanging around waiting to do something so instinctively i patted her on the back once. WTF??!
 Who does that? Ugh I wonder if she thought that was as awkward as I did.I hate it when things like that happen.

Yea if it's awkward, then the chances are your both afraid to make a fool of yourselfs, in which you accually make fools of your selves, and it's all good becuase you probably both like eachother. I hope you got her #.

 Thats some funny shit!I think she was proably just going for the hand grab/hold/release. I hope you didn't give her some manly job interview handshake did you? Or did you give her a "man hug" with the quick firm handshake with the single strong pound on the back?

not as bad as one of my friends, when he met a girl i know. you know that french thing where people put their cheeks together and like kiss (put not like kissing their cheek) well, she leant in to do that, and so did he. but he slipped and ended up licking her cheek and ear or something.
it's not all bad though, she asked me for his number the next day. 11 months later and they're still going out. so, good luck. shit happens, im sure she's not worried.

thats funny, cuz all girls i meet i give a hug to. Its just my rule that handshakes are for guys, or people that aren't friends or romantic interests; unless you are greeting them for the very first time. saying goodbye is always a hug
