Hello, I was wondering which tires were the best and or is there anything out there that will last longer or be as good as the Mich. pilot sport tires? I tried Hancook k104 tires, lasted about 12,000 miles on the rear, seems like there ought to be a tire available that is good and not costing $1000.00 a year to drive 15,000 miles.

There is ratings for each tires. Z is the highest rating and will last the longest. they are expensive, but yea good long lasting tires. =)

Z rating is for speed not treadware. Look at the treadware number not the Z rating. V,Z,H,W are speed rating. The tires will have together the treadware number, traction and temperature. You want a tire that has a A rating on both and the higher the treadwere number the harder the tire and longer lasting. Street racing tires have low numbers but very sticky compond tires.
