2000 Denali 6-Disc Changer Error

I just went to put in a new CD this morning in my disc changer. And now it won't play anything...just displays ERROR on the screen. And also I can't get the Disc Changer to open up now!! I hit the Eject button on the top of it..and nothing!! I read the manual and It said on cold/foggy days it might be the percepitation on the CDs stopping the CDs from working...and it is very foggy here right now. But I don't know..you would think that it would atleast let me still eject the disc changer!

Please help!! Don't know what to do!! Need your
