Programming a remote

I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand AM and i just bought a used remote.
The remote has an FCC ID K0BUT1BT and GM/UTA.
There are so many ways to program remotes I need to be sure how to
do it for the Grand AM. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
