guess what i saw?!?!

so im chillin in turkey here, just walkin down the street, and i hear a real nice, mellow, yet strong exhaust tone comming down the street. its been a while since ive heard such a sweet sound so i turned and looked. and low and behold, the first skyline i have ever seen goes rollin on by!! ill see if i can get some pics, im not sure if there are security issues with taking pictures on a military installation, but ill try. it was champagne colored, turbo, RHD, not sure what model of skyline it was, but i want to say R33. not old enough for the R32 and not boxy enough for the R34. there are several other nice BMW's, RHD Civics and CRX's, even a 200sx. anyway, just wanted to share the joy of my first skyline sighting!!!

Peace

Update: Yeah, googled some R33 pics, and its definetly an R33. my favorite model because of its size and engine.

Re: guess what i saw?!?!

Yeah, you pay taxes out the ass, but I'm sure it's still cheaper then buying a brand new car cause the price of the car is like nothing.

Re: guess what i saw?!?!

The coolest car I think I ever saw wasnt cool because it was exotic or prestine. When I was in Australia in 93' I saw a Ford Falcon two door like Mad Max drove complete with the Weind supercharger and headlight covers. Yes it was black. It was parallel parked along the street in Darwin. Hell, it might have been the one used in the movie for all I know. But most likely someone built a replica. Check out madmaxcars.com for some sweet eyecandy!

I think I saw a few regular Falcons in Guam too, Matt.

Re: guess what i saw?!?!

MetalHeadZaid, Are there any Falcons down where you're at? You probably see them all the time, huh? Being from the states, I was thrilled to see one, especially an Interceptor. I changed my Avatar, could'nt help myself.
