Diagnostic Code 37, 92 Dodge RAM 250

Code 37-- Torque converter clutch solenoid circuit. An open or shorted condition detected in the torque converter part throttle unlock solinoid circuit. (Automatic Transmissions Models Only)

I was giving my truck a once over (general tuneup). When I ran the diagnostics, the above code came up. I hadn't noticed any malfunctions in my trany but it concerns me as to what this code means. The book doesn't say anything about how to check the torque converter clutch solinoid circuit.

Does anyone know what this code means, how to trouble shoot it or what damange it will cause if I ignore it.
