Unhappy PAX Run flat tires

So does anyone know what one does for snow tires with the Michelin run- flat PAX system? We get some snow in New England... it could be ugly. Thanks for your help. M

Re: PAX Run flat tires

As of right now we do not have any firm information on PAX wheel/snow tire options for the U.S. I assume this is on a new OdysseyTouring model. I would check with the Honda dealer to see what options they may have available before you jump on this vehicle. It's a very nice run-flat system but the selection of tires will be very limited for at least the first few years. While this system has some benefits over traditional run-flat systems, it could also limit what you can do with the vehicle in the long run.

I did some checking and we will have a standard steel wheel and snow tire package available for the Honda Odyssey Touring package. Just give me a call and I can get you a quote for a snow package.

Exclamation snows

Thanks Grant... I am the Honda dealer. According to the owner's manual for the '05 Touring edition you are not to replace the wheels with anything other than PAX... I hate rules. I guess that it has to do with the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. I appreciate your help... it's one of those things that would be nice to resolve before we start selling loads of them.

Regards,
Mary

Re: snows

I would like to know if the regular Odyssey wheels will fit my 2005 touring and how would I defeat the low pressure warning?
