Wondering about the RX-7

I have the possibility to buy a mazda RX-7 I dont know what year it is for sure, its either an 88, or, 89, or maybe even a 90. According to the owner it has a new from mazda engine. with a turbo. It seems a lot of stuff has been replaced, which i find to be kind of iffy. Im going to take a look at it this weekend, im just curious about this car, Its a fun little one im sure. but i wanted to know what im really getting myself into with this thing. is it worth it or am i wasteing my time. Not sure why the motor would be replaced, or if it even was.

Just wanted to know if i should get this car. and have a little fun, they want around 3grand for it. which i guess is a good price. any info would be nice

Re: Wondering about the RX-7

3K is not bad as long as it has under 150K on the body. If the engine is newly rebuilt it's worth it. If it's a new engine from mazda it's definetly worth it!

Rx7's need new engine's/rebuilds every 80k miles or so if they are turbo. Read up at the Rx7 info thread I posted at the top.
