Need engine swap advice.

I am a soldier based overseas in the land of the rising sun, specifically, Okinawa. I have a 1998 S-14 Silvia. I am planning on swapping out the SR20DE for another motor. I know that I have a few options: the SR20DET, RB20, RB25, RB26, and the VQ35. I am wondering if anyone has some advice on which motor I should go with, and if they know how difficult it would be for the engine swap.

That car is nasty, crooked signals, painted over tailights and weak fitting 4 lug rims are not cool.

I came on this forum for advice, not to have people make fun of me or my car. I bought this car off of someone for $1300, and I am trying to fix the mistakes that he made with the car. Please cut me some slack.

i wasnt making fun of it, i like the color and the kit isnt too bad.. i never said i liked or disliked the turn signals, i just said it was a unique approach. good luck with the engine decision

Well here is some advice:
1-Find someone who has som stock aero for sale, very very cheap to find.
2-Install it on your car and get rid of that shitbox body kit.
3-Find some kouki tails that are not painted.
4-Convert to 5 lug with big brakes.
5-Get baller rims.
6-Get pussy because of your baller status (caused by the baller rims.)

I'd say put an sr20det in it, easy to find in japan and shouldn't be a prob to drop it in

0 hp for me... blown motor

well maybe like 10 hp... because it still runs, just with one loud ass noise that screams "blown main bearing" lol.

and as i said above.. i really wasnt making fun of it... i was just saying it was different. and i do like the paint job... when i got my car, the previous owner had taken body pieces off of another hatch (primer gray). so when i bought it it was white with a primer gray hood, hatch, drivers side door and fender. and its not like the parts he put on were in good shape. the fender and door had flames drawn on with a black sharpie and someone was even nice enough to carve the words fuck, ass and shit in the hatch. not to mention black painted teardrops in the rear and normal SE's up front. everyone either called it the cow, micheal jackson or any other name you can think of that means black and white lol. i wish i took pics when i first bought it... i did a $50 rattlecan paint job so its now all white and theres no sharpie flames or curse words carved into the trunk lol.

so long story short, nice paint
