Talking 1/1 Accord Wagon Replica

Hey all!

I'll try to make this quickly:
My brother owns a 98 model (I think) Accord Wagon,T4 model,here's a pic...

I'm going to reproduce it,in 1/24! So I bought a 2.3 Accord Wagon VTL from Aoshima, and it is just great! Parts fit nicely, exept for the openable rear hatch, which is going to be a little bit hard to line with the rest of the body, but some minor sanding will make it look good
To match the car's wheels,I bought some Fujimi idontknowthename wheel, that looks almost exactly the same...
Here's the dry-fitted model, standing next to the real thing (Model alredy primed!)

Nice,eh!?
So,I moved on the the things that had to be modded to make it a nice replica

The front grill!!

The kit front grill looked like this one...

And,as you can see on the pictures above,my brother's grill has some...I don't it's name in english...Hmmm Steps? Pads?! o_O
So,I went modding it...
Stretched some sprue and I made it...

But,the glue made it look all messy,so I'm thinking about cutting the Honda symbol off the grille, and make another one of styrene...
And I drilled part of the bumper in order to make it...

But let's do that later!

When I test fitted the rear bumper, there was a gap, that would be VERY visible when the trunk was opened,so I went on and puttied it...

That's it for now!

Comments,suggestions,and corrections are very welcome!

Thanks for viewing this thread!

Re: 1/1 Accord Wagon Replica

Aside from the wheels it looks like a really nice Accord!! Not a fan of the wheels though. But looks like you're doing a great job replicateing it!!
