which primer to use
ok I'm starting with all these things so I wanna know if I can use testor acrylic primer with tamiya acrylic paint ... do I have to prime all the pieces or what

Don't even waste your time with Testors primer, go straight for the Tamiya primer and you will be a lot happier - until you get more experience and start trying new things
![]() Tamiya primer works fine under Tamiya paints of all type.

But.....if can try Gunze Sangyo's Mr. Surfacer 1000 or Mr. White Surfacer 1000, you will see a big difference among the three..

But anyway, yes you can use testors primer under tamiya paint.

Tamiya glue, Tamiya piant, Tamiya primer... Tamiya works great. I like Tamiya.

I have been using Testors (model master) primer for years, but I bought a can of Tamiya primer last week, and I have to say, I will be using Tamiya from now on. It blows the Testors stuff away as far as quality of the spray, evenness of the coat, dries faster.. seems tougher too.
