It's got a '71 402 big block(CLB code). TH400/3.55 gears, Holley 750, Comp 280 cam and 2.5 Flowmasters.

SS hood, gauges, bucket seats and console but retains the Malibu trim. Plenty of SS's in this area, but hardly a Malibu to be found so I didn't do a full clone. Originally had a 307 with 2-speed powerglide. With premium unleaded hitting $3.25 now - those 307's are starting to look good again!

Re: New to the forum!

LOL,
Sounds like we went the same route.
I got a 69 396/375 Hp L-78
049 open chamber heads, Harland Sharpe Roller rockers, 750 Holley, T 400 Trans, New 12 bolt Eaton posi w/3:73 richmond gears ,and 2.5" Flowmasters with H-pipe.

Mine was a 307 car W/power glide Still has the front drums too. SS Hood and stripes, but the Malibu trim as well.

With gas at top dollar and the 10.5 Compression ratio it won't run on anythinng but Premium..... , But hey it all good......

Very nice Joe!!!!!!!!!

I see that you also have a Malibu with the SS hood, and full wheel well & rocker trim. Makes 'em look sharp, doesn't it! Whats under the hood?
