woohoo fuel injectors!!!
so what is every one's opinion on fuel injectors being upgraded in a n/a car. we'll i ask 'cause i want to upgrade and keep seeing all these 450cc dsm injectors.
do these just plug right in? do i still need my resistor box? what other injectors should i look at? oh, i will also be running a 50-shot soon. thanks for the help in advanced?

Re: woohoo fuel injectors!!!
why are you upgrading?? 240cc injectors (stock) will handle up to 180whp on stock fuel pressure...if i were you i would look at some RC310s or 440s, but if you're doing this on a budget, then the DSM injectors will be fine. I really dont see a need for upgrading the injectors because a 50shot is going to be a dry shot so there isn't any fuel added meaning stock injectors will be fine. Also if you plan to still upgrade injectors you'll need a resistor box (unless you're running on low impedance already) and you'll need a way to tune and someone to tune your injectors for the street.
IMO it is a waste of time unless your setup can justify the use of them....

Re: woohoo fuel injectors!!!
if you want to do something, just tune the injectors you have to your setup...you're not going to see much of a gain because with how mild your setup is, your ECU has already compensated for the extra air coming in...
I dont think i missed anything in your sig about raised compression or anything did i? You just have bolt on parts listed unless my reading skills elude me....

Re: woohoo fuel injectors!!!
ah very true, damn forgot to buy the ctr pistons. hmmmmm guess those are next, yea then i can buy the rods and crank, ohhh ohhh then i might as well buy the toda stroker kit and then the ctr pistons!!! fuk yea. what a great idea. now all i need is let's see $2200 + $600= $2800. gee... guess i'll have to save. crap i hate that word!
alright i got another one for you... how do you tell the difference between ctr itr and gsr camshafts. cause i upgraded the rest of my valvetrain i forgot to do the cams. nows the time. igot $400. damn $100 too short for ctr's crap.

Re: woohoo fuel injectors!!!
screw all motor dude...for $2800 you can have the setup i have on my GSR and you'll make near the same power as i have listed in my sig. With the CTR upgrade you might see 200whp at most. Personally after having a boosted Honda, i can't have a stock one
As for the camshafts, look on Honda-tech or post that question and they'll show you the answer.....the ends of the cam are different, that's how you tell. I'm not sure what they look like offhand, but someone there would know.
