Dual Exhaust

What am I looking at in comparison with performance/sound with:

MAC

Steeda

Both should connect at the standard Y-pipe without any problem right?
Which would be the better buy in the long run?

I dont belive I have ever heard the Steeda but the Mac's have a very nice rumble to them, and decent performance gains.

And to top it all off, they're much cheaper and they fit right on and I won't have to move much around

I'm not looking to be out racing and tearing up my new car, just want some sound and appearance.

steeda uses borla mufflers just restamped or unbadged. dont really expect 20hp though

The Steeda price is better than Borla's too, Borla wants a grand for the same exhaust system.

Yeah, Steeda is mostly just a designer, but they do build some stuff inhouse.

I would personally prefer Steeda on my Mustang given the option of MAC or Steeda.

It said they both have 3" tips chrome, but is it just me or does the Steeda tips look bigger?

Forget about Steeda, but yes there both just regular Y pipe back kits.

Some of the macs look cruddy, like the one with black pipes that connect to tips from the side, the ones that just come out straight look nice the mac ones for 329 bucks.. plus they connect right on without any other stuff needed. am i going to actually need to buy passenger side hangers myself or will the muffler shop have those?
