Pulling engine... almost out, a few questions

Ok, so I am pulling my engine to rebuild it. Well, I am balls deep in it but I have done all I know how to do. I cannot figure out how to get the speedometer cable off. I unscrewed the deal and unbolted the driven gear bolt and I cant figure out how it comes out. Also, what the fuck am I supposed to with the slave cylinder lines and what not? Thanks guys... cant wait to get it out and see what the fuck is going on.

The speed cable should slide right out once you unscrew the ring that holds it down.

The slave can be left attached to the line. Just flop the slave up out of the way and rest it on something so it doesn't come apart (if you can keep the piston in the slave you can sometimes get away without having to bleed the clutch when you're done).

Ok, so I gotta pull harder on the speed cable then. I am kinda confused on what part I should be unbolting for the slave cylinder. Where is it?

There are two M8x1.25 (12mm head) bolts holding it to the bellhousing. It's right in front, by the front motor mount.
