I f**king can't STAND my brother

I swear, this sounds so immature coming out of someone who is 20, I can't fucking stand my brother!! HOLY FUCKING HELL!! I swear, its the smallest shit he does that makes me put holes in my walls, probably cuz i've never fought him, ever. He most definitely desreves, and quite overdue for a good beating. Why? Cuz he'd learn something from it! When I did shit that was wrong or annoying, my friends didn't scream at me and turn around and punch a wall, they fought me. Seriously, the kid is 17, he should not be this fucking immature!! I've got friends that are about his age!! sry, i'm really fucken pissed off, i've never found myself like this b4. The kid just came back form a month long trip to Florida, and the entire time he was tehre, it was peace here in the house. soon as he's back, it started, his immature bullshit, xcept i was able to ignore it, thinking i'm supposed to be able to deal with this shit, i'm not fucking 15 years old. but i'm fucking flipping a shit right now! wtF!! its not even worth saying what kind of shit he does now, its so stupid, yet its enough to just drive me wild. i swear, i need to stop punching fucking walls, bad for the fist, even worse for the house. I'd punch him right in the face if he wasn't such a wimp. I KNOW for a fact that this kid would just fall over and cry instead of fight back. how the fuck is a guy supposed to release anger if he doesn't get some fists flying back at him!? what, you throw one, and you watch the welp cry? end up just getting yelled at? oh god, fuck this shit. i need to grow up, i know it. i can't believe i let something so stupid drive me insane like this. ... /rant, and fuck that.

Beat his ass, thats the only way your going to get your point across, especially if he deserves it. I grew up with 2 sisters so punching the wall was the only way to release anger. One time my sister got me all sorts a pissed, and there was this column in our living room that divided the stairs to the up-stairs and the kitchen. Well I was about to rip her arms off, but instead I just railed that column, I hit it soo hard that I left 2 deep knuckle marks which I tried to do again and again and couldn't do again. But the funniest part was that something tipped over in the cabinets that were attached to the wall that ended at the column. It sounded like a salt shaker tipping over lol but couldn't find it. Man was I pissed.

I guess if hitting him is not such a good idea, try picking up some boxing gloves and go hit the bag a little that way you relieve some stress then try talking to him.

I know how you feel. My brother is about as annoying as they come. Hes 26 and living at mom and dads for Gods sake. I blew up at him once and threw him through a wall. Not only did I catch hell from the parents, I felt like shit for hurting him. Now I just get in his face and yell. I can't bring myself to lay a hand on him anymore. I'm 5'9" 200lbs he's 5'10" 150lbs. Not quite fair.

i would love to just get him right in the face, but its not satisfying if he doesn't fight back, and i know he wont. i'll have to live with it, i just really let it get under my skin last night.

I have the same issues with my brother. He's 21 and still every little thing he does jsut drives me insane. I see something that needs to get done, and I do it, he doesn't. I percieve that as lazy, or just a lack of common sense, or mutual respect. He doesn't take initiative, so I feel like kicking his ass 90% of the time, but at the same time I feel like I should be the responsible one and make sure he gets his crap done. So I'll want to kick his ass, yet at the same time feel absolutely compelled to remind him to register for classes, or pay rent, etc. Everyone just says, screw it, let him fall on his ass...but easier said then done.

Last night he unpacked half the groceries, left the other half out to spoil. Left dirty dishes and empty soda cans all over the computer room, left our downstairs windows open all night, jsut a bunch of crap like that. I came downstairs at 2am, and see all this, and got irritated, so I cleaned up most of it for him, and left him a note asking him to clean up the rest. This morning, the mess is bigger, no cleaning happened, and then he calls me for a ride home from work at 6pm. I so wanted to leave him there....I should have.

That is the problem with siblings, you can't choose them. You are stuck caring about them, but at the same time, you would love to punch them in the head (and at some point, usually do). I havn't hit him in 2 years, and it was 3 years before that. But everytime it has ended in a pretty bloody scuffle and scared the hell out of our mom/friends/housemates. I can't count the number of holes in walls, or broken doors, I had to fix before I got a punching bag. What can you do?

My brother is the same way, same age and everything. I've rocked him in the face a couple times but then my parents threaten to kick me out, "he's still a kid!" If I did half of the things my brother does when I was his age I would've been without a home the day I turned 18...

I have the SAME situation!

I'm 20, my brother is also 17.

I was leaning on the fridge when he wanted to go in, like it was a life or death matter, i got off, but not enough for him to open it more than 2ft, big deal, right? He throws it back at me and he smacks into my shin, the entire time he is SCREAMING his nuts off at me, so I scream back "FINE I'LL MOVE" then I slam the fridge door back at him, he lashes out at me punching me and kicking me and shit, so I defend my self and give that "I am going to fucking kill you!" look and he GRABS me by my throat to which mum broke it off.

I snapped his necklace but dude, wtf?!!?

If one of my mates treated me like that I would fucking roll him.

My neck still hurts an hour later :-(

My brother brings 2 or 3 bags in and calls it a job well done.

He leaves the unpacked bags (to which there are about 15 total) on the kitchen floor then waddles into the bathroom where he stays for the entire duration that mum and I are unpacking, and putting everything away.

Every. Fortnight.

It's the same. I yell at him to come and help, he waddles out, puts the milk away and fucks off elsewhere.

I call that lack of decency and pure fucking laziness.

If this was WoW I would gank him, and corpse camp him until he logged out, and ganked his guild on sight. That's a job well done.
