Re: E Ram

15 hp for $300 is not horrible, but id be turned off by the extra drain on the battery/alternator, and the extra parts needed

Re: E Ram

Does it actually work? Ive seen places on the web that say theyve tried it and it did nothing that the dyno could see... pluss they always seem to look cheaply made to me...

Re: E Ram

I run two in my car. Since you can run them in series you can run as many as you want really. Performance gain is amazing and dyno proven! 30hp!

Re: E Ram

Spend 300 bucks, or you could just build your own. The idea is simple enough, I've thought about doing something similar for just shits and giggles on a few cars of mine.

I highly doubt 30HP.

Now if you did a RAM air set up with somthing like e-rams I could see maybe a bit more.. Forcing the air over the fans, and the fan motors would be able to reach higher RPM ranges allowing the fans to spin faster, hence adding more power that way. But even still. 300 bucks? Grab a turbo if you're going to spend that much money in to force injection system.

Re: E Ram

if you have a turbo car it would do something. an eram is just a fan built to reduce "turbo lag" the time it takes to spool up the turbo. does add low rpm power for turbo cars by spooling up the turbo faster... it does not make boost! this is not an electric turbo, its a fan. does not give na cars power. if you hook one up no an intake it will just restrict your airflow at high rpms.
