1.5 L PGM-FI Engine
i was wondering is this motor any good or if i should do an engine swap

Sounds like you've got a DX engine (D15)... That's pretty much the bottom end. I would swap up. Even if it's just to an Si engine (d16a6), you'll notice a big difference. After that, you could go with a SOHC VTEC motor (D16Z6 or D16Y8), which will give you a nice boost of HP. After that, you're looking at JDM engines (ZC, B16, B18, etc)...

yeah i was thinking of putting a dohc 1.6 litre v-tec engine (d16a1) in that would make the car go

There are no DOHC and VTEC D-series engines. ZC is D and is DOHC, and the EX Civic Engines are D and VTEC. But no DOHC VTEC D-series. You probably mean B16A.
