Does anyone know the steps in replacing front wheel bearings for a 2005 Chevy Impala. How hard is it and do I need special tools. Non ABS system

Re: front wheel bearing
Welcome to AF.
For special tools you will need a torque wrench. The axle nut will be torqued to someweheres around 150 - 180 ft-lbs depending on what the hub manufacturer or GM specifies. 36mm socket and breaker bar to remove the axle nut. And possibly a hub puller to get it off the spindle. For rest like brakes (caliper and bracket) and the hub bolts just standard metric sockets with 3/8" drive ratchet and extensions. Also, when completed the wheel nuts should be torqued to 100 ft-lbs.
