has anyone ever heard of a product called the juice box

the juice box claims to boost horsepower for 30 dollars. i was wondering if this product actually works or not? the juice box is for sale on ebay.

It probably works pretty good for its intended purpose, and that is to get 30$ of your money. LOL Most too good to be true gadgets or additives usually are!! But aside from that, what is it supposed to do? Is it an additive or a bolt on device? Give us a link so we can look at it.

I cant find any info on how the juice box works. According to the add on ebay, it can be installed in line with the IAT or the ECTS sensor. These send a varying voltage signal to the computer based on their resistance, which changes with the engine/ambient air temperature. They help control the fuel delivery(CPS of the injectors) , and timing. Im guessing that The Juice Box alters this voltage signal fooling the computer into thinking things are cooler than they are, and keeping the fuel delivery slightly rich and the timing slightly higher to give a slight HP boost. It would work if thats what it does. Feedback on it at Ebay is good, but then thats human nature. Most people that buy something like this will alter their driving habits unconciously to make sure they get positive results, or just not admit that it was snake oil and they blew 25$. But youll have to find someone that actually tried one, or spend 25$ to find out for sure. lol 25$ is cheap for 12-20 horsepower, but in a vehicle that already runs pretty strong it would be hard for most people to feel. Wish i could be more help, but i cant find alot of info on it.
