How to reduce Turbo lag on your WRX for $4!!!
I met the Sprongol Brothers on the weekend and they taught me a trick for only cost $4 canadian that reduced turbo lag...enough to notice it.
Here's what you need to do: 1. In the yellow circle of the pic i provided there is a vacum line that begins at somewhere near the tubo, and ends at another t somewhere near the edge of the intercooler. (you will know if you are looking at the correct hose, because it is split by a plastic femal to female coupling) 2. Once you have located the hose....split it in half by removing the plastic coupling, and replace it with one that is 3/16" in size...wich is about twice the size of the factory one. 3. Plug it in reconnect the other end of the hose and your done!! * If you have a turbo gauge you will notice it climb alot quicker that it was before the coupling change...hey for $4 what else do you want* Hope this helps....let me know if you have any questions. PEACE
