b16 wiring q's

ok guys i plan on swapping my own b16 to save some money and so far it seems not so hard, but i have been have some trouble trying to understand the wiring because i dont have the b16 in my posesion to analyze.

so heres my question, lets say mpfi is already wired up, when i swap in the b16 ecu, does the plugs from the d series ecu also plug into the b series one? and if it does, then do all i have to do is run the wire from the sensors to the correct pins on the ecu?

thanks guys

Re: b16 wiring q's

as long as youre using an obd-0 ecu it will plug in. then yeah all you should have to do is wire your vtec and other sensors. if you dont want to do the wiring either get one from rywire or just ask bambam89lx. he makes harnesses and can probly get you a good deal so you dont have to stress over it.

Yes, the plug will match, however you would have to depin a few places an add your wires.

Re: b16 wiring q's

well like this says
o Pin A8 – VTEC solenoid.
o Pin B5 – VTEC oil pressure switch (plug with 2 wires, Black is ground)
o Pin B19 – Knock sensor.
o Pin C8 – Second oxygen sensor
will those spots have wires already in them i have to depin or will they be empty? i have an extra ecu plug to use for the pins.
could you explain please?
