2001 Blazer proplems...help me!

Ok, so I drive a 2001 LT blazer.

This morning while driving to school I was listning to the New Johnny Cash CD, American V straight out of the package...after about 15 minutes it said ERROR in green letters on the Stock Delco CD player. But the radio stil lworked..I cleaned the disk, still nothing, it just says error (but the radio oddly enough still works fine) After school I start up the blazer, and the CD screen is completely blank, it doesnt even say error, but still the Radio works, if I turn off the engine, it says Error..and the CD keeps making a ejecting noise, even when the vehcile is switched off (and im really scared its going to kill my batters) Anyone have any idea whats wrong with it?

Pull the radio fuse and the batt fuse for 10 minutes, put them back in, if the head unit still does it then it's probably the CD player is shot
