'84 Thunderbird V6, auto, very clean, cheap, in Baltimore..
Bought this to use the engine/trans, A/C, stereo, and seats in my '61 Falcon custom, but it's too nice to cut up and it turns out I'd need to notch the shock towers in the Falcon too much to fit the 3.8. It's just going to take to much effort to put the engine and trans into my Falcon, which is why I got the car. Like my wife says, I don't need another big project, and we don't need another car sitting around.
I brought the car home this past weekend, went over it to make sure everything safety wise works. It's got good power, stops and turns good, and rides great. I went over it with a buffer and some polish, and the paint shines like new now. It passed NJ safety inspection in April, and I'm taking it through the MD safety inspection (which is stricter). I'll find out later today if it needs anything else to pass, or if it passes with what I've already done. The car is much nicer than I had originally thought, and now I've spent a bit of my own money on it. The price is going to be $1500 or best offer. 3.8 liter V6, automatic, nearly new tires, grey cloth interior. A/C needs recharge. this would make a great first car for a kid, or a good musclecar project with an engine swap. On to the pics...
