Where to find a 1/25 scale Halibrand quick-change...

I'm gathering parts for yet another project -- the So-Cal Speedshop 1934 Ford salt flat racer. I've found resin Ardun heads and a blower, but need a Halibrand quick-change rear end, lever shocks and Coker-style tires in 1/25 scale.

Anyone got any ideas?

Re: Where to find a 1/25 scale Halibrand quick-change...

The best Halibrand quick-changes are actually found in the AMT Modified kits, but only the Tobias chassis asphalt ones. Model King recently reissued a large portion of these kits, so here's a list of which ones contain the right rear end.

1936 Plymouth
Gremlin
Mustang
1935 Chevy sedan
1937 Chevy coupe

A word of caution. There is also a 1936 Chevy coupe, but it's on a leaf-sprung ladder style chassis for a dirt car, instead of the asphalt coil-over Tobias chassis, so it lacks the rear-end you want.

Also consider the AMT Grant King sprint car/supermodified 2n1 kit which Dirt Track Racecars brought back for a reissue.

Mine is put away somewhere but I think there is a nice quick-change rear-end in this kit. I don't know what a Halibrand looks like specifically, so I don't know if this is one.

Afraid the Revell Deuces have a nice, but de riguer Currie-style Ford 9inch.

Well, I did say I had no idea specifically what a Halibrand QC looks like.

The '32 Ford is a really nice kit otherwise, pick it up anyway.
