Re: car Won't start

Before this, did your car make a sound like metal scraping whenever you started it? If so its the starter that went, most likely it is the relay...lemme take a look around in chiltins in a bit.

Re: car Won't start

What the fuck is "awped?" Sounds to me like a dead battery. Borrow a buddy's or something and see if that works.

Also, use the subforums, they are there for a reason.

Do your lights come on? Does the radio work? Those are a couple of other things to include in your questions, more detail. And welcome to the AF.

Re: car Won't start

Hmmm... I have a theory... Have you done the clutch switch mod? Where you disconnect the one harness above the clutch pedal so you don't have to hold it in to start the car? I think you should try that just to see if the switch went bad. Here is a video of the one to unhook.

Do that and try to start it without holding the clutch in and make sure its out of gear. lol Hopefully its just that switch and it will be a simple fix for you instead of buying and replacing other things on a hunch.

Re: car Won't start

Are your battery deals on the terminals good? Mine we half hanging off once on the Cavy, I got lights and radio, but not enought to crank it over. 2 turns of a wrench and it was fixed.
