fan not coming on
hey all, been mia for awhile. my fan(s) were not comming on. so i tried to trouble shoot and even thought about stright wiring it to a switch that i could control. I tried everything and finally took it in to be fixed. turns out that the two relays that are bolted right behind my left headlight, had burnt out. so they installed everything, and let it run in 90degree weather for over an hour, no overheating problems. after watching, both my fans kicked on for about a minute then shut to repeat this process over and over every so often. as long as i could remember, before only the right fan-smaller one would come on, and after the fix both fans came on, making it all the sweeter i guess. its a shame that the labor kicked my ass to find that out but just thought i'd update.

I'm in the same spot. My radiator fan wasn't working either. But I can't afford to put it in the shop right now. I just bought this car, and I have tuition and books to pay for. So until I get some more money saved, I have to settle for the cheap solution.
