2001 Dodge Ram 1500 brake squeaks...
Just purchased the truck, mechanic says brakes are in great shape...but...they squeak when applying pressure. Not enough for ear muffs but really annoying.
The rear are ceramic. Is there anything that can be done to decrease this high pitched squeak? Thanks in advance...Art |

Re: 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 brake squeaks...
I just bought my 2000, and it does the same thing. Light to moderate pressure they squeak, and moderate to hard they're quiet. This is usually from cheapo pads from what i've seen. Mine has 78k so i'm sure the guy had the brakes done at some point. The only way to rid yourself is to replace the pads with some premium ones. I'll live with it for a while.
