Is This A Good Engine Rebuild Kit?

Does this kit include everything to rebuild the lower end of your engine for high hp output. Valves Down. And do you want Tabs for M. Bearings 1 way or Tabs for M. Bearings 1/2 left and 1/2 right. What is the difference.

Complete Gasket Set
Copper Performance Head Gasket
Wiseco Forged Pistons
Performance Rings
Performance Wrist Pins
TOGA HP Main Bearings
TOGA HP Rod Bearings
Thrust Washers
Timing Belt
Expansion Plugs

Tabs for M. Bearings 1-way

Tabs for M. Bearings 1/2 left, 1/2 right

TOGA HV Oil Pump
Re-Con Forged Crank
H-Beam Rods

Price: $1559

I plan on have massive amounts of hp when i am done with my car.

Re: Is This A Good Engine Rebuild Kit?

Don't forget some ARP head studs, rod bolts, and main bolts... Also, the stock cranks are good for a ton of power... IIRC Shepherd still runs a stock crank...

Re: Is This A Good Engine Rebuild Kit?

I have the 420A n/t motor in my 98 eclipse and i want to get about 600 or 700 hp out of the motor so will i still have to replace the crank. I plan on having to run a high amount of boost to do so like somewhere in the 40's. So those few things is all that it is missing to complete that parts of the engine rebuild.

Holy shit...

Dude... No... You will never see 600-700hp out of the 420a. Especially if your only gonna build the bottom end... And you will never see 40psi on a 420a unless you drop like 25k into building the motor... Our built 4g63's are lucky to see 40psi without problems, and even then its just not a bottom end build... Wow...

Re: Is This A Good Engine Rebuild Kit?

I hope you plan on dropping the compression ratio to 7.5:1, building the head and having $5k set aside for when you throw a rod
