Re: opinions???

If your running a first gen b16 i'd say keep it obd-0. Save yourself a bunch of hassle. Wont your dizzy and senors and all that have to be upgraded to obd-1 it you decide to change?

stay obd0. Just get it chipped and you will be able to run hondata-like software with it.
here's my OBD0 PR3 running my 12 second all motor lsvtec setup. I run BRE, which is freeware downloadable on pgmfi.org. It serves the same purpose of hondata, but with ALOT of extra features. Those black USB cables you see coming out of my ECU run up to my laptop which which is permanently mounted in the car for tuning ease. I have full datalogging capabilities as well as real time programming.

it's still not cheap. but it is cheaper than buying all new obd1 stuff and an obd1 ecu and hondata.
It ends up being in the $450 dollar range, but that is including all the hardware AND a wideband o2 sensor. You're basically only paying about $250 for all the hardware.

xenocron.com has EVERYTHING you need. Send him your ecu. Have the 4 pin header (for datalogging) and zif socket installed. it's like $50. then you're ecu will be ready to run the setup I have pictured above. From there, all you need is a laptop to tune with. I don't have a need to convert to OBD1. I have everything that OBD1 software offers plus more. I plan on running this in my 11 second all motor build for next year...and then eventually in my 10 second all motor setup the following year.
With this setup...you don't EVER have to change your ecu...I can use that ecu to run anything from a D16 to an H22 if i want.
