What is the deal here...
Alright...quick thread to see if anyone can help. My 91 sedan with a B16A with Y1 tranny has got some problems. Harder than hell to get started, so I's assuming spark plugs and wires will clear that up. I've torn apart the dizzy and everythings alright there. I;ve got an idle jump when cold and sometimes when warmed up too, and it smells like gas inside the car. None of the injectors are leaking and theres no gas smell under the hood. Given any more than 1/2 gas or in VTEC it blows black smoke like a MF and when idling it likes to blow a little black smoke but nothing too major. Timing is okay though. I'm pretty sure its a problem with my intake temp. sensor but I can't be sure. I'm thinking its throwing my MAP sensor all outta whack. Anyone got any clue or dealt with something like this before?

Maybe the pressure regulator is not working properly?

Re: What is the deal here...
Intake temp. sensor wouldn't cause that many problems. It may actually be your MAP sensor.
