Tranny probs with the 89 2.5 turbo Baron

Hey I've got an 89 baron 2.5 turbo 3 speed automatic. just recently I've had problems with the transmission.

I put it into park and the car lurches forward a bit and stops. when I start the car its like the gears are locked but its still in drive. In fact I can drive the car in neutral! Reverse won't work its the same as park(lurches forward and stops).

If anyone has info on this please help me out this came out of no where.

Re: Tranny probs with the Baron

Just an update, the other day the tranny prob magically fixed itself. I think it's a bad valve body. not sure yet though.

Re: Tranny probs with the Baron

Re: Tranny probs with the Baron

That sounds like the shifter linkage is not adjusted properly
