dealerships are gay

I took my car to a pontiac dealership about a month ago to have the driver's side window motor replaced b/c it was going..then yesterday that same window is now moving up/down off of the track that it's supposed to because the bracket broke. they're claiming it's not their fault, and said "you shouldnt close the door by the window",, nooooo shit!! i make a conscious effort to close the door by the frame instead of the window just so shit like this doesnt happen, and I even tell my pasengers when they get out of the other side not to close it by the window. i'm sure they had to take the window out of the track in order to replace the motor, and my guess is they didn't align it right when they put the window back in,, and now they wanna charge me $460 fucking dollars to weld in a new bracket....... FUCK dealerships.

Re: dealerships are gay

wrong place. And they aren't called stealerships for nothing. Count it as a life lesson, hope they didn't also take a joyride in your car, and work on your own car next time. Sorry, but this happens ALL the time.

Re: dealerships are gay

Once your warranty expires all reason for going to a dealership ceases to exist. Until you get a new car. Just take it into a small non-affiliated shop to get the work done.

Re: dealerships are gay

I would not generalize that all dealerships are bad. Certainly they aren't gay. All one hears are about the bad ones, but there are alot more that are quite good and do not take advantage of their customers.
