96 impala ss loses all power

I have a 96 Impala ss, I'll be driving and all of a sudden it just dies and there is no power what so ever, no lights radio nothing, let it sit for 5-10 minutes it will start right back up. Need some help with this one guys, any suggestions.

lT1s have an issue with the ignition optispark unit but I do not believe it would cause the lights not to work though.
