do you plan on competing in a certain class? Once you do that, it limits the classes you can run in, and unless you're running 11's or quicker, it's not worth it at this point.
BTW, why did you title this thread "drag slicks"...you're question isn't even related...

little late when i wrote that last thred,...... My freind gave me 4 wrinkle wall hoosers (did i spell its right?) and they rub really bad and i thought that if it wasn't to exspensive i would buy one of those (iguess its poly urathaine) drag hoods the one that you see at the track . right now im running a 13.8 burning stock tires 1rst-3rd , on a b16a1 nitrus dx and would like to see at least 13.5-13.3 so i figured tires were next. so thats where i got drag slicks....

you don't need slicks at your level. Go get yourself some BF Goodrich Drag Radials. They are commonly referred to as BFG's. Just buy 2 for the front in 14 inch. Go to discounttiredirect.com or discounttirezone.com. they've got good prices. And buy the free replacement certificates, it's worth it when you run over a nail in your new drag radials.
