88 GA wont start, backfires
ok wellllll my car was working perfectly then i decided to wash the engine bay because it was really dirty, so about half hour after i go try so start my car but all it seems to do is crank once or twice then backfires, why is it doing this?

Sounds like you have water in the distributor cap. Remove it, make sure its dry and clean, check the rotor too, should fix the problem.
