Fuel Filter Location for 98 Ford Contour SE

Could someone tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 1998 Ford Contour SE? Is it easy to replace? Thanks.

In the tank, underneath the car or in the engine bay. Just follow the fuel lines from the tank under the car, if you can't find it it's in the tank.
