Styrene and Putty: building Lamborghini 's Ultimate; Diablo GT & GTR

Hello all!

I m glad to be posting this thread, although I m not really sure it's the right timing in the phase that the model is in right now.
It still has very many rough edges and is not at all finished.

Still, let me just keep you in some suspense... I started to get really interested in this model after reading about it, I was always fascinated with cars that actually have some crazy history and that just, well, look like they came out of hell!

That's why I decided to make my own version of the Diablo GT and the Diablo GTR. These cars, are basically the last car made by Lamborghini, before ze German ownership, and are mad as a monkey on steroids.

Not only is this car as wide as it can, it looks the deal too. It's the epitomy of the Diablo, wings, fender widenings, openings, vents, coolings and more wings make up the exterior of this Ferrari eater.

Let me show you, for those of you who don't speak Lambo.

Basically, this is the GT, street version of the craziest car ever made (80 ex.)

Here's a picture of it

Byt then also there is the GTR which is different only in details.

So you see, pretty appealing subjects, atleast to me.

I wanted to make both, so I would have to make it in a way I could cast it later...

But enough talking, let's see where I am at now, as I said, not really far, and it needs lots of finetuning here and there, but you can see the idea of it laying underneath with a lot of imagination.

I have taken some pictures, both inside and outside.

That must be enough pictures for you.

I did change quite a lot of pieces,

Bulge on top of the hood
naca ducts in front
widened front
widened fender cooling ducts
air inlets in front
front bumper scratch
engine cover (this is a first trial, i m working on a new one)
scratchbuilt sideskirts, more in shape with the actual car.
Modified rear wing

There 's still a crapload to make, but I m pretty confident it will come out as planned in the end, but when that end will be, I have no clue!

C&C&Hoorays are always welcome!

Oli
