license plate light
i got an '88 hb with a wings west back bumper...i don't have a license plate light and the town i live in the cops are really big on pulling people over for not have a license plate light. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do. I've been told that there are bolts, the screw the plate to the bumper, with lights on the end...I don't know where to find these though. Any ideas would be great.

Re: license plate light
what's the deal with people not putting the plate light on when they install a new kit? it's really not that much extra effort. you could even adapt the one that's built into the old bumper to make it work, or just buy a new universal one.
i drove around for about 2 years without one until a friend said something to me about it one night. "hey your light's out." i'm like "it never had one." "you're gonna get a ticket!!" yeah, anyway. i didn't like that kit anyway. found the stock bumper in a junkyard and put it all back the way it should be. |
