Plastik Magazine

Hi,

I would like to anounce that a new, free, scale model digital magazine, called Plastik has been published by me.

The link is http://plastik.no.sapo.pt/index_eng.html

There are a portuguese and a english version of it. File size is 8.5Mb and is in PDF format.

I'm already working in the next number, that will be released in 2 or 3 months.

Just read the website to know more about it and download the file.

Regards,
Carlos Jorge

Re: Plastik Magazine

I'm the "designer" and "publisher" of that magazine.

I've released it on Monday, but only yesterday I've finished the translation to english, there may be some errors, but the time isn't much...

Hope you enjoy.

Regards,
Carlos Jorge

That is outstanding! Please keep the new issues coming. I had a great time reading your tamiya vs revell f50 side by side comparrison. Very informative on many different subjects. I will support any way possible.

Re: Plastik Magazine

Yeah, it is certainly a very good start, might be an idea to get an English proof reader for the next issue .

Hello!

The first issue of Plastik is very well designed and informative. I especially liked the "Versus" section where we could easily see the differences between both kits.

Something I found weird, though, was that the review of the Williams BMW was only one page long. Also, the historic article about the Flak cannon seemed a bit out of place in there. We didn't see any model of the Flak and I wonder if it was in relation to the German bunker article.

In the end, Plastik seems really promising and I'll read the next issue with pleasure!

Thats strange, nothing changed.

I've just downloaded the magazine and opened as normal.

You have to be using Acrobat Reader 5 at least, the best is 7.

Also, make sure you right- click and "save link as". Don't left- click.

Great job on the first issue! Looks great and has some nice info and photos. Keep it up!

Re: Plastik Magazine

What version of Acrobat do you need to read the PDF file? Seems the old version I have can't decode the file. Thanks.
