02 Cav. making weird noise

Hi. My Cavalier makes a thudding noise when I'm going over 25 around right hand corners. Anyone know what it might be? It sounds like it's coming from the front but I can't tell which side.

Thumbs up Re: 02 Cav. making weird noise

Might be a CV Joint.....jack up the car, jack stands on the frame ( says where to put them in the manual)

Look under the car and see what shape the rubber boots are in....if split or broken...water/dirt can enter the CV joint....and soon it will be defective..if not already.......

Have some on help.... and turn the wheel ...right and left to see if any suspension parts are loose....shake the wheel look for excessive movement!!
