Kawasaki 750RSZII (Naked) WIP

This is my latest build, after enjoying the Yamaha so much, I wanted to do another bike.
The paint work will be custom, not sure how yet.
Also I will make a few parts on the lathe like the tank filler cap, rear suspension etc

Thanks

Can't wait, Steve! I can only conclude that you're going through the phase that will in the future will be known to mankind as "Hiroboy's bike period"

After they were primed and any defects sanded out with micromesh , they were airbrushed with "Ferrari Rosso Fiorano" then left, inspected cleaned up, wiped over with the tack cloth and had 3 coats of 2K clear coat applied.
Will polish out when it's cured off.

where the nudes at?
Also is the polyester putty a lot easier to work on than compared to the basic putty?

This is going to be another super build. Any particular reason why you chose this bike?

I found the look of it interesting for a 1973 bike.
And after the Yamaha XJR400 found Aoshima Bike are quite good to build.
Not something you see often.

Thumbs up Re: Kawasaki 750RSZII (Naked) WIP

I like this build.
I build the Z750 years ago in factory build and i found this kit very nice to build. Very good fittings and proportions.
I once saw aoshima sells also a Suzuki GS400 and BMW R100RT, but they are very hard to find in the netherlands.

The paintwork looks superb, i'm waiting to see more progress

Keep up the good work
Denman

Re: Kawasaki 750RSZII (Naked) WIP

Been working on the oil cooler for the bike, the kit supplied item as rubbish, so using Detail Master parts I have make it look better , I think.

Most parts have now been prepared with Alclad Black and Halford Satin Black ready for various Alclad shades.
